PELOTITAS | C3: Moving through the journey of the step.

We study:

  • How the weight moves through the hip: ‘heavy ass’ and progressive grounding.
  • Horizontality and verticality: how to work with them and how they complement and feed into each other.
  • The foot-sit bone connection.
  • How to release the legs outward: planeos and projection.

Sequence/exercise:

We used the small ball to increase self-awareness and worked on a super challenging sequence that includes a DEEP SACADA and a sweeping motion in the follower’s role: but don’t worry, the sequence is just an excuse to grow in body awareness.

 

To train a bit deeper in planeos, we recommend C1 from Intensivos.
