THE WALK|Straight leg or bent leg?
We study:
Stretch the legs without locking, bend without crouching.
Pelvic mobility.
How is the oscillating axis and dynamic balance.
Move from below and behind.
Sequence/exercise:
The BALDOSA in different musical tempos: we drew inspiration from two songs: ‘Seguir viviendo sin tu amor’ (Spinetta) and Indio Manso (Di Sarli), to explore different movement qualities. The biggest challenge: FINE COORDINATION in the couple’s space.
Class #70 could be useful for deeper exploration, and in #51 and #43 (C1 and C2 OF THE SMALL BALLS), we focus on the gradual progression of the step’s journey.
If you want to go into detail, we recommend C4 of Intensives to reinforce the idea of progression and ‘the in-between’.
