A well-placed embellishment doesn’t interrupt—it enhances.

We focus on the mechanics of these adornos—elements of movement that aren’t led. With practice and awareness, they become part of the coordinated dance with a partner, enriching the construction of meaning—in harmony with the music, the space, and the aesthetic of our dance.

God is in the details. So is a good embellishment.

What details? For example: whether it’s with the toe or heel, if the legs are parallel, if the hip is lifted, if it’s flexed or extended, and other aspects about how and when to do it.
We’ll look at some concrete options so you have a guide, practice, and develop your own criteria for choice and beauty.

In Adornos we study:

1.The character of your footstep.
Foot details throughout the entire journey of the step.

2.Playing in the air.
Drawing the ocho forward and backward.

3.The ‘arrow’ and its trail.
Projected energy and what lingers behind.

4.Parada en passé.
A suspended moment with a precise line.

+ EXCLUSIVE BONUS:
With the purchase of the full seminar, you get the INTRODUCTION and WARM-UP for ADORNOS —to start the class focused and inspired.

With this seminar, you will…

+ Improve the line of your feet, legs, and overall body alignment so they integrate harmoniously with the curves of your oscillating axis.
+ Add weight to your walk and gain more balance—feeling more stable and available.
+ Incorporate subtle elements into your dance.
+ Work on the gestures of your legs in the air: energy, projection, intention, and effect.
+ Develop your personal interpretation, deepening authenticity and presence.
+ Integrate aesthetics and execution.
+ Strengthen your presence and dive deeper into building your own personal meaning.

If it's exciting to even think about it, imagine doing it.

Voices from those who lived it:

The class is designed, but it always transforms with the presence of those who choose to take part — that’s the magic of the live experience, and of this format now available to you in just one click.

Take a peek at each class

ADORNOS C1 | ‘The character of your footstep’. (18:45′)
Foot details throughout the entire journey of the step.

We study:

  • Footwork when entering and leaving the floor.
  • Knees that bend and stretch.
  • Support and push dynamics.
  • Step size: short, medium, and long steps.
  • Pointed feet: letting the foot lead the movement.
  • What a spiraled and airy body feels like.
  • Organize from the very beginning: build with intention and meaning from the origin.
    .

‘If the movement is well-organized from the origin—with a certain quality and clearly built intention—it often carries a particular kind of beauty.’

ADORNOS C2 | ‘Playing in the air’. (13:39′)
Drawing the ocho forward and backward.

We study:

  • The ‘drawing’ made by the legs and their ‘effects’ in the air.
  • The closeness of the knees: rotated legs with space between them.
  • Accented or softer: nuances between adagio and rhythmic.
  • Focusing on the gesture of the leg: it’s not higher, it’s looser.
  • The natural curves of the body, typical of a swinging axis.
    .

‘Training requires much more from you than just taking class: they are different learning moments, and each demands a different level of commitment.’

ADORNOS C3 | ‘The arrow and its trail’. (12:21′)
Projected energy and what lingers behind.

We study:

  • Drawing the gesture that remains behind: energy sent in a clear direction.
  • Working on movement intention like an arrow: it’s not just about throwing the leg, but projecting it with precision.
  • Endless legs: projection is trained, but so is sensitivity.
  • Using breath as a tool: release to throw, hold to suspend.
  • Performing while interpreting: authenticity is also something we train.
    .

‘Reaching that one place only you can create is finding authenticity.
And one of the things that brings you closer to something original is art.’

ADORNOS C4 | ‘Parada en passé’. (14:47′)
A suspended moment with a precise line.

We study:

  • The balance between action and pause.
  • The height of the knee, hip placement, and the line of the foot.
  • The transition: it’s not only about being in passé, but how you enter and exit the position.
  • Body organization and oppositions: pressing down in order to go up.
  • Being fully in the movement: staying present is the greatest challenge when it comes to filling a moment.
  • The interpretive space from an imaginary and playful projection.
    .

‘Interpretation needs inspiration: we need to feel motivated. That detail is what makes the difference.’
